TSC relocates secondary school principals in Murang'a.

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has transferred the principals of Murang'a Secondary School ahead of the start of the second term  next  week.

Some of the  assistant principals  received promotions from the  teachers' employers.

Andrew Maina,  long-time principal  at Ichagaki Mixed Secondary School, has replaced John Mwangi at  PC Secondary School.

Maina expressed  gratitude for  leading the development of Ichagaki High School for 15  years.

“I am  leaving Ichagaki Mixed School with 660 students,  but 16 years ago I only found  66,” he  said. Following Rhoda  Wamaitha's departure, Kamahaha Girls' School principal Julia  Muturi moves to Musa Gitau in Kiambu County.

Instead of Veronica Mwai, who  was transferred to Kamahuha Girls,  Wamaita was transferred to Nginda Girls in Maragua.

TSC Murang'a principal Francis  Ng'ang'a said changing school principals was a  normal procedure.

“This is a  normal employer  event and there is no cause for  concern,” Ng’ang’a said.

The  standards have been  notified that borough education officers will be responsible for overseeing the  ongoing transmission process in  affected schools.

Hannah Wangari,  vice principal  at Kamahaha Girls' School, has  transferred to Koimbi Mixed Secondary School in  Kahuro  district. Instead of  Ngarui moving to  Widhu Ramji Secondary School in  Murang'a, Dunstan Ngare  from Mweru Secondary School in Kiharu  is moving to  Gaitiri Secondary School.

Rose Kihara  has been replaced as  vice-principal of  Kiambu Girls' High School at Karuri Gakure Secondary School in Kangema.
