Anyuor shared his thoughts on the matter. He referenced Section 16(3) of the TSC Act of 2012, which designates the commission secretary/CEO as a State officer. It gives detailed information on what makes a State officer, in addition to Article 260 of the Constitution.

Nancy Macharia Date of Birth  Dr. Macharia, who was born in 1963, has devoted almost 28 years of her professional life to supporting Kenya’s educational system.

After a competitive hiring process in May 2015, Macharia was appointed to her present role at TSC, succeeding her old boss Gabriel Lengoiboni, who retired on June 30, 2015.   Since then, she has served as the commission’s top secretary until June 2020 despite opposition from stakeholders and education experts. She then decided to continue working for five more years, or until 2025.

Strong leadership is a well-known quality of Dr. Nancy Macharia. Strict legislation designed to simplify the teaching profession serve as evidence of this.

Additionally, it has aided in the delivery of services to children in Kenya.   Additionally, Macharia requested a teacher training certificate from the government. He used it to advocate for the hiring and promotion of more teachers.
